Knoxville Wedding Photographer – 2 Hodges Photography
We were thrilled Mary Kate wanted to take Knoxville bridal portraits before her wedding day! Hair and make up artist Katie Ezry flawlessly styled Mary Kate before she put on her flowing, ruffling wedding dress by Paloma Blanca from Maggie Louise Bridal, handmade jewelry, and sparkling Betsey Johnson wedding shoes. Mary Kate makes a stunning bride, and we absolutely loved her long veil, too!
We started the bridal portrait session off at Crescent Bend, a historic wedding venue in Sequoyah Hills in Knoxville, taking advantage of the lake front and flowering Crescent Bend gardens. Crescent Bend is where Mary Kate and her groom, Alex, had their wedding reception and took many of their wedding day photos just a couple of weeks after Mary Kate’s bridal session. Then, we took some bridal portraits at Church Street United Methodist Church where Mary Kate and Alex said their, “I dos.”
Crescent Bend House and Gardens is a historic home near downtown Knoxville, TN, featuring five fountains, nine terraces, and formal Italian Gardens. It overlooks the Tennessee River and offers four settings for wedding ceremonies: the Convexi Holly Maze Garden, the Roman Fountain level, the River Garden Terrace, and the River Lawn.
We loved getting to be Knoxville wedding photographers for Mary Kate’s bridal portraits and for her the celebration of her marriage to Alex. See Mary Kate and Alex’s gorgeous wedding day on the blog!
