Knoxville Wedding Photographer – 2 Hodges Photography
When first meeting Katheryne and Ramsey, Ramsey was the last to arrive and kissed Katheryne hello. This was the first thing I, Kandi, loved about them as a couple. There were already so many things to love about Katheryne – how she spells her name, that she’s an elementary teacher – I quickly discovered many things in common with her. Katheryne and Ramsey were not high school sweethearts, but they did go to West High School in Knoxville, TN, together … a few years ago … where they were in band together. It wasn’t until Katheryne visited Ramsey at UT Chattanooga that they realized they had more than friendship. For their engagement session, Katheryne and Ramsey met us at West High School. We weren’t able to get inside to visit their old band room, but we did take some photos in front of the school and out on the football field. Then, because Katheryne loves books, we went to Sequoyah Hills Library, right next to where Katheryne went to elementary school herself. After reading from Ramsey’s favorite book, “The Good War,” we moved on to Sequoyah Hills Park. During their engagement session, we discovered many more things we love about Katheryne and Ramsey. They are old souls, and while we love lots of color in our photos, we love how their relationship is captured in black and white. We cannot wait to be their Knoxville wedding photographers for their July wedding at Mabry Hazen House where we’ll work with awesome Knoxville wedding vendors including Patrick Michael Weddings, The Pour Guys and All Occasions Party Rentals.
