Elizabeth and Russ had a fall wedding in Knoxville, Tennessee, with their ceremony at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church and their reception at RiverView Family Farm. Between Elizabeth’s braided up-do and her flowing dress, she looked like a Greek goddess. Her make up by Chelsey Hobbs and bouquet by The Katelier were also stunning.
It’s easy to see that Russ and Elizabeth are greatly loved by all who know them. We had to smile at Elizabeth having nine of her closest family and friends by her side for her wedding day in addition to honored guests. When first meeting her, as she detailed how special each of these women are to her, it became clear that Elizabeth is a special soul who people treasure for life. Russ also had his closest family and friends by his side, including his two sons. During their ceremony, Elizabeth and Russ exemplified their testimony to God and what it means to become husband and wife.
After being married, Elizabeth and Russ rode off in an antique car for their reception at RiverView Family Farm in Farragut, TN. With the fall leaves, the rolling greens, the rustic buildings, and the lake, RiverView is an amazing wedding venue. Their reception is one that will be hard to forget. Since they married on the day of the UT versus Alabama football game, and SEC football is huge in East Tennessee, they had a big screen tv available for guests to watch the evening game. They even found some tailgater Coca-Colas for the event. We loved watching Russ watch Elizabeth dance. With DJ Porter from Davis Sound of Special Notes Entertainment, the dance floor was packed. Our favorite moment, though, was the bouquet toss. After Elizabeth threw the bouquet, several single ladies ran toward it … and kept running! The bouquet ended up on the floor. Be sure to look for it below.
Of course, one of our favorite things about Elizabeth and Russ is their heart to help other people. Look closely, and you will see that supporting their favorite charities took precedence over wedding gifts. We look forward to seeing how, as husband and wife, Elizabeth and Russ make the world a more beautiful place.
Elizabeth and Russ: You are both such incredible people who we are blessed to know. Thank you so much for allowing us to be your Knoxville wedding photographers capturing your beautiful wedding day. You definitely captured our hearts.
