Lauren and Matt had a destination fall wedding at Christopher Place Resort, a bed and breakfast in Newport, Tennessee, that has a breathtaking view of the Smoky Mountains.
Since it was a destination wedding, we didn’t get to meet Lauren and Matt in person until their wedding day, and they and their family were some of the kindest, most welcoming people. Seeing Lauren’s emotions and excitement to marry Matt reminded us of how we felt on our wedding day. As Lauren’s dad walked her down the aisle, about half way, Lauren said, “Can I run to him now?”
While Lauren’s fall wedding was stunningly beautiful from her dress to the stunning Smoky Mountain views to the most beautiful fall florals from Lisa Foster Floral Design, their excitement to be married was by far our favorite part of the day.
We were also enamored with Christopher Place from it’s beautiful views to its charming atmosphere to its delicious food. We can’t wait to go back!
