Knoxville Wedding Photographer – 2 Hodges Photography
Katie and Philip’s spring Knoxville engagement photo session at UT Arboretum in Oak Ridge, TN, could not have been more perfect. With the crazy Tennessee weather we’ve had this year, it was hard to predict if flowers would be in bloom or if we would be taking photos in the middle of a rare Knoxville blizzard. Thankfully, amidst rainy, cold days, the second day of spring met us with sunshine and nearly 70 degrees.
Katie and Philip are high school sweethearts. They met at church camp and have been together almost ever since. Katie is finishing up her teaching degree in elementary education while Philip is already working in Texas, so they could not have been more excited to spend some time together for their engagement photography session, also making Philip the person who has traveled farthest for Knoxville engagement photos with us!
This was actually the first time we had met Katie and Philip, and we loved the opportunity to spend some time with them and really get to know them so that we weren’t first meeting them at their Memorial Day weekend wedding. We had so much fun laughing, hiking, and chatting with them. We even captured a few photos. Just kidding – we captured several incredible photos!
We are so excited to be Katie and Philip’s Knoxville wedding photographer. Katie is planning a beautiful wedding with pink and gray details. No doubt, Katie will be a gorgeous, beaming bride, and we cannot wait to capture her walking down the aisle at her Catholic church wedding. Just scroll down to see the look in her eyes when she’s with her groom. You will see what we mean.
