Freedom House Church Knoxville Wedding Photography
As Knoxville wedding photographers, we love the opportunities for southern, rustic, romantic outdoor weddings. However, Brittany is a self-prescribed city girl (see her and Josh’s Old City Knoxville engagement photos), and churches are also popular wedding venues in Knoxville, TN. She and Josh got married at Freedom House Church, which provided some unique wedding photo opportunities on a bright, sunny day. Brittany and Josh’s wedding was popping with bright colors. We also loved the bricks, arches, trees, and even a school bus, that made for interesting backdrops for Brittany’s glamorous wedding gown from David’s Bridal.
From laughter to tears, Brittany and Josh’s wedding was full of emotion. In every aspect of the day, you could feel the spirit of Brittany’s Dad, who we know was smiling down on this Knoxville wedding from heaven. Brittany’s brother gave her away, and she later enjoyed a first dance with her mom.
We love how Brittany was also surrounded by her best friends who have been by her side since she was a little girl. They were shining bright around the bride in yellow and teal bridesmaids dresses, and they were full of wedding photo ideas that made for some fun moments.
Brittany and Josh’s wedding had a great balance of DIY touches as well as professional touches, like catering from AJ’s Diner including an incredible wedding cake and UT Vols themed groom’s cake. Memories in a Flash photo booth was also at the reception with awesome props that made for fantastic photos both in and out of the booth. As a Knoxville wedding photographer, we love to have fun at weddings while capturing all of the emotions of the day, and this Knoxville wedding did not disappoint for fun and emotions.
