Knoxville Wedding Photographer – 2 Hodges Photography
Megan and Luke are planning a May wedding at Historic Westwood in Knoxville, TN. The couple met when they were just beginning law school at UT College of Law because Luke made a joke in class that made Megan laugh. Who doesn’t love a fun sense of humor?
They remained just friends for several years before realizing they both wanted so much more. They love to laugh and they love to enjoy life, and once they realized they wanted to do it together, wedding planning started.
When first meeting Megan to discuss her wedding photography, she said she had never daydreamed about her wedding as a little girl and did not know what to expect with wedding planning. She said one minute, she was trying to plan her budget, and then the next minute she was pricing string quartets for cocktail hour. She said she didn’t even want a cocktail hour! She joked that she had gotten wedding cancer – a wedding planning disease that was quickly growing out of control. So together, she and Luke are planning an intimate wedding that will give a slight nod to the 1920s. A 1920s feel seems so perfect for Megan and Luke!
For engagment photos, we started out at UT College of Law. Then we moved over to Maloney Park where Megan and Luke used to love taking walks. We love when engagement photos represent who the couple is! We were excited especially to do engagement photos for the couple because Luke has a condition in which he does not have irises in his eyes and they wondered how this would affect their wedding photos. While legally blind without glasses, with glasses he has limited vision. We love how intimate and cozy Megan and Luke are together, and we are very excited to be their Knoxville wedding photographers next May!
