Knoxville Wedding Photographer – 2 Hodges Photography
Planning Melanie and Jason’s Knoxville engagement photos was a lot of fun! They put so much effort into choosing locations that speak to them as a couple. They even scouted spots they were interested in and sent us photos to see if we thought the locations would be ideal. We loved that!
We started the day near Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville. It was also just after the UT vs. Florida football game ended, but we were in luck. We didn’t fight any crowds. Melanie works for a law office, so she loved the courthouse area of downtown, and who doesn’t love bright red doors on an old stone church?
Then we headed to one of the University of Tennessee farm areas. Jason works for the UT Tree Improvement Program, and since he and Melanie are both from the Midwest and used to being surrounded by farm land, this was the perfect location! We also wanted to be sure to be in place to catch the sun as it set into the Tennessee River.
Melanie and Jason also incorporated the cutest details into their shoot, including wooden signs representing the states they are from and how they came together in Tennessee. They also put together gorgeous fall colors perfect for their fall engagement photos.
We are so excited to be Melanie and Jason’s Knoxville wedding photographers next May at the Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farms! Rumor has it, we may be in for a beach wedding!
We hope you enjoy their engagement photos!
