Knoxville Wedding Photographers – 2 Hodges Photography
We had a lot of fun taking Emily and Josh’s spring engagement photos on the 2 Hodges Photography property in Sevierville. The forecast called for possible thunderstorms on the day of the shoot, and Emily and Josh were driving up from South Carolina, so we were praying for no rain. Thankfully, we managed to stay dry, and then rain started pouring right as we finished the shoot.
Our property had purple and yellow wildflowers in bloom, and we love how Emily’s spring dress tied in so perfectly. We always tell couples to be careful in using patterned clothing for engagement photos, but we think this is an example of when a print dress works just right.
We love when engagement photos represent things our couples enjoy doing together. When we were planning where to do this engagement shoot, I asked Emily to tell me what she and Josh like to do for dates. She said that she loves to ride horses, they love nature, and they love to shoot together. Then she apologized for not being any help, when actually she was a huge help. Little did she know, I had been waiting for one of our couples to tell me that. Scroll down below so you can see what we came up with and why our property was perfect for their engagement photos.
We can’t wait for Emily and Josh’s June wedding on Emily’s family farm near Athens, Tennessee. We can’t get enough of Emily’s golden curly hair, and we love seeing her and Josh have fun together. We know it’s going to be a beautiful wedding day with an amazing couple!
