Knoxville Wedding Photographer – 2 Hodges Photography
Angele loves murals and graffiti art, and downtown Knoxville, TN provided the perfect scenery for her to have artistic engagement photos, especially during the Dogwood Arts Festival.
First, we visited the 6th Avenue Mural Project located at the I-40 underpass at 6th Avenue and E Glenwood Avenue. The mural project was led by the Parkridge Community Organization and is part of the effort to keep Knoxville beautiful. The project features four murals promoting Knoxville, North Knoxville, Parkridge and 4th and Gill.
Next, we headed to Market Square to take advantage of an alleyway featuring Popcorn Sutton and Ninja Turtles. This is where their playful nature really shined. Then, we visited Elvis on Gay Street. No doubt he was singing “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You!” Our last stop was to a large attention-grabbing sculpture of a baby carriage. It was definitely unique!
Not only is all of the artwork beautiful, so are Angele and Nathan. The bride and groom have actually known each other since high school! Although they were just friends back then, they are an incredible couple now. In addition to their roots being in common, they have also served in the military. Angele is a veteran who now works for the VA, and Nathan is still on active duty.
Their wedding at The Standard in Knoxville’s Old City during Memorial Weekend will be as incredible as they are and include a lot of unique touches. We are so excited to be their Knoxville wedding photographers!
