KNOXVILLE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS – 2 HODGES PHOTOGRAPHY
Meet Jennie and Jared. We are so glad we did! When Jennie and Jared described the engagement session they wanted, we were immediately excited for a new challenge. Jennie and Jared will have several out-of-town guests at their Knoxville Convention Center wedding next May, and they plan to use photos from their engagement session showing Knoxville landmarks as part of their reception table set up. With a list of 13 landmarks including Littons and the duck pond in Fountain City before moving downtown to the L&N train station, UT on the Hill, Neyland Stadium, Calhoun’s, the Sunsphere, Market Square, Krutch Park, the JFG sign, the statue of the man in the row boat, the Bijou Theater, the Tennessee Theater and Woodruff’s, we knew we would have to be super organized and a little creative to include each of the locations on their list. Not only were Steve and I excited to change things up from our country engagement sessions that we are known for but we were also up to the challenge of planning a route so that we could maximize our time shooting and be at the right landmarks during the ideal time of day to shoot them. We had so much fun as we made our way around Knoxville, TN, getting to know Jennie and Jared better and at times being creative with parking, or not parking as was sometimes the case.
Jennie and Jared are such a fantastic couple to work with. They are so into each other, they naturally posed themselves perfectly throughout the session. In fact, they were so into each other, we had a hard time setting our cameras down, to which Jennie said, “But I love him even when you aren’t shooting.” We loved it! Of course, at times we got a little silly, too. We are so excited to be their Knoxville wedding photographer at the Knoxville Convention Center in May. Without a doubt, we didn’t just meet a 2014 wedding couple when we met Jennie and Jared, we met wonderful friends.
