We are so excited to begin our first wedding season as a Knoxville wedding photographer. We currently have four weddings scheduled for the 2013 wedding season, and we can’t wait to for all of the East Tennessee engagement photography sessions we have lined up to begin – next week! Sometimes I (Kandi) think about how Steve and I got here, first becoming a husband and wife photography team and then moving on to become a Knoxville wedding photography team. I keep coming back to the same thought – this whole exciting adventure is completely God-driven. When I first met Steve seven years ago, and we adopted Jeremiah 29:11 as our Bible verse, I could never have imagined that the plans God has for us is to be a Knoxville wedding photographer. And yet, here we are.
I must also say that we have been truly blessed by so many amazing friends and mentors, especially our friends Joe and Kathleen at JoPhoto, another husband and wife Knoxville wedding photography team. They have been gracious enough to mentor us, even letting us second shoot a Knoxville, TN wedding with them held at Dara’s Garden. We have always agreed JoPhoto’s wedding photography is awe-inspiring and that any bride would be beyond thrilled to have them as their Knoxville wedding photographer (seriously, go check them out!) Shooting along side of them at Dara’s Garden sealed the deal – we wanted to pursue Knoxville wedding photography.
This year our adventure will take us to several venues from Tellico Village to Pigeon Forge that we are incredibly excited about, including Tellico Yacht Club, The Falls Cedar Bluff Conference Center, Music Road Convention Center, Butterfly Gap Retreat in Maryville, and some beautiful churches including First Baptist Church of Sevierville and Freedom House Church of God in Knoxville, TN. I can truly say that we have been blessed to meet four amazing couples and that we are honored to share in their wedding day.
We hope you will follow us on our wedding photography adventure. If you are engaged and looking for a Knoxville wedding photographer, contact us for information on our Knoxville wedding photography package.
Now, take a moment to enjoy these photos taken at Dara’s Garden as second shooters. Be sure to also checkout the wedding photos by JoPhoto! And we must also give a special thank you to Pam and Matt. We hope your marriage is as beautiful as your wedding day. Thank you for letting us be a part of it!
