Christina and Doug are such a fun, genuine couple. They are students at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where Christina studies architecture and loves design, and Doug studies electrical engineering. What we noticed most about them during the fall engagement photo session at Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville, TN is that that they love to laugh together, one of our favorite things.
While Christina is talented in design and photography, Doug is also multitalented in playing several instruments and sports. When he pulled out his guitar during their engagement session and began playing, it was difficult to stop listening. A handmade quilt, mild fall weather, and an acoustic guitar are a recipe for a perfect evening. We could have listened all night. Of course, then we would have missed out on what happened next.

Christina and Doug are planning a May wedding at Calvary Baptist Church in Sequoyah Hills in Knoxville, a church that is more than 100 years old and provides a church home to many of UT’s students. We are so excited to be a part of their wedding day as their Knoxville wedding photographers!
